This guide walks you through how to set up your account and use all features of the SFT Tailoring Solution app, depending on your role.
Getting Started — All Users

Download the App
Download SFT Tailoring Solution from the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). The app is free to download and install.

Create Your Account
Tap "Register" on the welcome screen. Enter your Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and create a secure Password. Upload a clear Profile Picture.

Choose Your Role
Select your role: Worker, Women Empowerment Worker, Garment/Factory Owner, or Customer. This determines which features and dashboard you will see.

Complete Your Profile
Fill in your personal details, full address, and bank account information. Your profile must be complete before you can use most features. Factory owners must also upload their GST number and factory proof documents.

Log In
Use your registered email address (or username) and password to log in. You will be taken directly to your role-based dashboard.

Browse Job Listings
From your dashboard, tap "Jobs" to view available job postings from garment factory owners. Each listing shows the factory, job type, and requirements.

Apply for a Job
Tap on a job listing and select "Apply". Your profile information is automatically sent to the factory owner for review.

Track Your Application
In "My Applications", track your application status: Applied → Review → Hired. You receive a notification when your status changes.

View Work Assignments
Once hired, view your specific work assignments in the "My Work" section, including quantities and deadlines.

Chat with Owner
Use the in-app chat to communicate directly with your factory owner about assignments, questions, or updates.

Browse Home-Based Jobs
Browse jobs posted by factory owners that support home-based work. These jobs will specify the fabric type and expected output.

Apply and Get Hired
Apply for suitable jobs. Once hired, you will receive instructions from the factory owner on when and where to collect the fabric.

Collect Fabric
Visit the factory at the agreed time to collect the raw fabric and any pattern specifications for your assignment.
4
Complete Work at Home
Complete the stitching work at home according to the specifications. Update your progress in the app so the factory owner can monitor completion.
5
Return Finished Products
Return the completed garments to the factory. The factory owner will confirm receipt and update your assignment status.

Verify Your Business
Upload your GST number and factory proof documents during profile setup. This verification enables you to post jobs and accept customer orders.

Post a Job
Go to "Post Job" from your dashboard. Enter the job title, description, required skills, number of workers needed, and any other relevant details.

Review and Hire Workers
Review incoming applications from workers. View their profiles, skills, and experience. Update application status to "Review" when considering an applicant, and "Hired" when you accept them.

Manage Customer Orders
Accept incoming tailoring orders from customers. Update order status as work progresses: Pending → In Progress → Work Done → Delivered.

Track Production
Monitor production quantities, worker assignments, and completion rates from the Production dashboard.

Browse Available Services
Explore garment services and factory owners available on the platform. View their profiles and previous work.

Place an Order
Select a factory owner and tap "Place Order". Fill in your order details, measurements, style preferences, and required delivery date.

Communicate via Chat
Use in-app chat to discuss your order requirements directly with the factory owner before and during production.
4
Track Your Order
In "My Orders", track the real-time status of your order: Pending → In Progress → Completed → Delivered.
5
Confirm Delivery
Once you receive your completed order, tap "Confirm Delivery" in the app to close the order and move it to your order history.

- Keep your profile updated for the best experience and visibility.
- Use the in-app chat for all communications to maintain a clear record.
- Enable push notifications so you never miss status updates.
